Morrison Foerster Ranked on American Lawyer’s 2024 A-List

Morrison Foerster has once again been named to The American Lawyer’s A-List. The firm has been ranked as one of the top 20 most well-rounded law firms that are “the best of the best” for 21 of the ranking’s 22 years. This is also the seventh year in a row the firm has been ranked in the top 15.

The A-List recognizes firms based on a combination of factors, both financial and cultural: revenue per lawyer, pro bono commitment, associate satisfaction, racial diversity, and gender diversity. Each metric measures Am Law 200 firms’ relative performance; a firm’s score in each category is based on its ranking among all 200 firms. Each category, as well as the overall score, is based on a 100-point scale.

The American Lawyer also recently ranked Morrison Foerster #5 on its annual Diversity Scorecard, marking its 14th consecutive year within the top 10. The Diversity Scorecard evaluates law firms based on various metrics, including the racial and ethnic diversity of lawyers across different roles, the diversity in leadership positions such as the executive committee, office heads, and practice and industry group leaders, as well as efforts in providing opportunities for and retaining diverse talent.
