Lexology Index 2025 Recognizes Eight MoFo Lawyers for Investigations
Eight MoFo lawyers have been recognized in a number of Lexology Index (formerly known as Who’s Who Legal) 2025 guides in the Investigations category. Lexology Index’s research is based on feedback and recommendations from leading private practitioners as well as from the firms’ clients. In particular, the selection process for its Investigations guide is conducted with its reputable sister publication, Global Investigations Review, which also recently included MoFo in the latest edition of its GIR 30 list (Morrison Foerster Named Among the Top 30 Investigations Firms Worldwide). This is the sixth consecutive year the firm has been included in the Investigations guides.
The following lawyers are recognized in Lexology Index 2025:
- Timothy Blakely, Hong Kong co-managing partner and head of the firm’s Hong Kong Litigation Department, was named a Thought Leader for Investigations in both the Thought Leaders – GIR guide and Thought Leaders – Mainland China & Hong Kong SAR guide. In addition, he is a Thought Leader in the Investigations guide and a Recommended Lawyer for both Business Crime Defense & Investigations and Arbitration in the Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, and Macao SAR guide.
- Charles (Chuck) Duross, co-head of Morrison Foerster’s FCPA + Anti-Corruption practice, was named a Global Elite Thought Leader in the Investigations guide and a Thought Leader in both the Thought Leaders – GIR guide and Thought Leaders – USA guide under Investigations.
- James Koukios, co-chair of Morrison Foerster’s Securities Litigation, Enforcement, and White-Collar Defense Group and co-head of its FCPA + Anti-Corruption practice, was named a Thought Leader in the Thought Leaders – GIR guide, the Thought Leaders – USA guide under Investigations, and the Investigations guide.
- Daniel Levison, co-managing partner of the Singapore office, head of MoFo’s Singapore Litigation Department, and leader of the firm’s Ethics and Compliance regional practice in Asia, was named as a Recommended Lawyer in the Investigations guide and Southeast Asia guide.
- B. Chen Zhu, head of MoFo’s Sanctions and Export Controls practice for Asia and leader of the firm’s government and internal investigations in Greater China, was named as an Investigations Future Leader – Partner in the Investigations guide.
- Tokyo partner Takahiro Nonaka was named as a Recommended Lawyer in the Business Crime Defense guide for Business Crime Defense: Corporates, the Japan guide for the Business Crime Defense & Investigations, and the Investigations guide.
- London partner Hayley Ichilcik was named as a Recommended Lawyer in the Investigations guide.
- New York associate Sheryl Janet George was named as a Global Thought Leader for Under 45 – Non-Partners and a Future Leader – Non-Partner in the Investigations guide.
