Emma Bosworth is an associate based in the London office of Morrison & Foerster and is a member of the Corporate M&A Group.

Emma advises clients on a range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, shareholder arrangements and general corporate advisory matters. She has broad experience advising domestic and international clients on large complex cross-border and domestic transactions across various industries, including financial services, real estate, automotive and pharmaceuticals.

After being awarded her LLB (Hons.) from the University of Exeter in 2008, Emma completed the Legal Practice Course at BBP Law School in 2009. Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Emma was a senior associate in the London office of a leading international law firm.

Emma is qualified is qualified as a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales and she is admitted to practice law in England and Wales.

  • Advising a leading automotive company on a joint venture for the development, production and commercialization of green technology. 
  • Advising an Israeli private equity firm on a conditional agreement to acquire a financial trading division of a UK Plc, for $210 million. 
  • Advising The Collective in relation to a joint venture to convert Taxi House, the former headquarters of the Licensed Taxi Drivers Association, into a 286-bedroom hotel, retail, food and beverage, events space and a public piazza.
  • Advising Cromwell European Real Estate Investment Trust on its acquisition of a portfolio of 16 properties in Poland, Finland and the Netherlands for €324 million.
  • Advising Rentokil Initial on the CMA mandated divestment of part of the MPCL Limited business to Rentokil Initial and subsequent sale of MPCL Limited to ServiceMaster.
  • Advising Bracco Imaging S.p.A., an Italian manufacturer of agents and tracers used in diagnostic imaging, in the $450 million acquisition of Blue Earth Diagnostics Limited from Syncona Portfolio Limited, subject to a $25 million closing adjustment.
  • Advising The Collective in relation to the world's first large-scale co-living fund established by DTZ Investors, COLIV, which is seeking to raise in excess of £650m to build a £1bn co-living portfolio.
  • Acted for the investment management arm of an international Kuwaiti bank on multiple joint venture transactions to fund real estate investments in Europe.
  • Acted for Liberty Global on the €750 million disposal of Chellomedia, its international content division.
