Represented international underwriters in relation to a major SOE’s concurrent offering of U.S. dollar and euro denominated Notes. The Rule 144A/Reg S US$1.3 billion Notes are the first to feature a full guarantee from China and are the first to be eligible for listing in the emerging market bond index. The Reg S EUR500 million Notes represent the company’s inaugural euro-denominated debt issuance.

Represented international underwriters in relation to the largest U.S. dollar perpetual capital securities offering by an Asian issuer at the time and a EUR1.75 billion euro-denominated perpetual capital securities, which was the first Asian borrower to issue a euro-denominated perpetual.
