Nicholas is a partner who advises Asia-based and U.S. sponsors in the structuring, formation and offering of private equity funds as well as co-investment activities and secondaries transactions. He also represents limited partners in connection with their investments in private funds. He has ten years of experience in both Asia and the U.S.
Nicholas regularly counsels on large fund raises and has extensive experience working with some of the largest funds in Asia, including in China, Japan, South Korea, and Indonesia. He represents some of the most prominent private equity firms and leading financial institutions in the world.
Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, he worked in the Hong Kong and New York offices of a leading U.S. law firm. Nicholas is fluent in English and Mandarin. He is a Registered Foreign Lawyer with the Law Society of Hong Kong.
