Sebastian Schwalme is a senior associate at Morrison & Foerster’s German office in Berlin and a member of our Corporate Department. He specializes in capital markets law, banking law, corporate governance, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, as well as in providing strategic advice to companies.

Especially in the area of capital markets law, he advises clients on the implementation of financing measures and transparency obligations, the preparation and conducting of shareholders’ meetings, international and national transactions, corporate and project financing, M&A, and on general strategic matters.

He publishes articles in the fields of corporate law and capital markets law, and is a co-speaker at the annual seminar, “Capital Markets Law Update,” conducted jointly with Link Market Services GmbH in Berlin and Hamburg.

Mr. Schwalme studied in Berlin and London. Before becoming a lawyer, he worked for Landesbank Berlin in the area of real-estate and corporate clients as well as high net worth private clients.
