UB BLAST is a week long, multidisciplinary competition for UB  students from the Schools of Medicine, Engineering, Law and Business interested in developing new medical technologies.  Five teams will be tasked with a known surgical problem and need to develop an innovative solution that they will pitch at the end of the week.

UB BLAST is a week long, multidisciplinary competition for UB students from the Schools of Medicine, Engineering, Law and Business interested in developing new medical technologies. Five teams will be tasked with a known surgical problem and need to develop an innovative solution that they will pitch at the end of the week. In addition to their pitch, the other deliverables are: a prototype, a 3D printed logo for their team, and develop a business plan.
