The GC {Re}Defined Series: Leadership Communication – Power, Influence and Persuasion
As part of our ongoing GC {Re}Defined thought leadership program, supporting the growth and impact of the global GC community, MoFo partners and associates hosted a lively dinner and discussion for more than 40 of Singapore’s leading GCs on 24 September. Against the backdrop of the spectacular Singapore Skyline and delicious food from the Aura Sky Lounge, MoFo partners Shirin Tang and Brad Wine shared some thought provoking insights from our work with GCs and our GC {Re} Defined Global Research. The research study, canvassing the opinions of 200 GCs around the world, examines the opportunities and challenges faced by GCs as the role evolves into that of a valued business leader, with real influence over the shape and growth of an organization
An entertaining and engaging discussion on “Leadership Communication – Power, Influence and Persuasion” led by keynote speaker, Dr. Andy Yap, Assistant Professor of Organisational Behaviour at INSEAD, and Mark Tan, GC of GLP Pte. Ltd. The discussion touched upon topics such as the science of sticky ideas, the psychology of curiosity, storytelling, and achieving power in communication through perspective taking, emotional intelligence and body language.
Watch out for the next event in our global GC {Re}defined Series.
