Come join as CryptoMondays welcomes data privacy advocate Brittany Kaiser for an exciting sit down interview and preview of her Netflix documentary The Great Hack. She spent 4 years at Cambridge Analytica and was a whistleblower on their data practices. She has testified before the UK parliament and has been featured on multiple recent TV interviews.
She is the founder of the #OwnYourData campaign and co-founder of the Digital Asset Trade Association (DATA), a nonprofit lobbying firm advancing legislative and policy reform to protect the rights of individuals to control their own digital assets, with impactful success supporting the passing of 13 new blockchain-positive laws in the State of Wyoming. To raise awareness of data rights, she recently co-founded the Own Your Data Foundation, to promote digital literacy and STEM education. Brittany is also the primary subject of the Netflix Original documentary The Great Hack, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. She is the author of the recently released memoir “Targeted: The Cambridge Analytica Whistleblowers Inside Story of how Big Data, Trump, and Facebook Broke Democracy.
