Morrison & Foerster’s Carrie H. Cohen acted as program co-chair for the White Collar Criminal section of the 2020 edition of this annual conference. She and her co-chairs organized, among other programs, “Shifting International Approaches to Corporate Cooperation, Self-Reporting, and DPA Resolutions in White-Collar Cases,” a panel that addressed the increasing international use of law enforcement and statutory authorities to incentivize corporations to self-report potential criminal misconduct and cooperate with government investigations. In addition, she moderated a panel discussion on “Issues in Cross-Border and Multi-Jurisdictional White Collar Investigations,” which explored risks and best practices in multi-jurisdictional investigations.
