Brian Kidd Speaks on Panel Regarding Corporate Compliance and Corporate Enforcement Guidance

MoFo partner Brian Kidd will be participating in the 2021 Washington DC Regional Compliance & Ethics Conference being held by the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics. Joined by a top DOJ official and the chief compliance officer of a multinational company, the panel will focus on reviewing recent guidance issued by the U.S. Department of Justice, with an emphasis on the Evaluation of Corporate Compliance guidance (June 2020) and the Corporate Enforcement Policy (2019). After discussing the recent changes, and the reasons behind them, the panelists will discuss practical approaches to using the guidance to strengthen corporate compliance programs, and how to view the Corporate Enforcement Policy when wrongdoing has been committed by an employee of the company.
