In this Financial Times article on the worsening trade relations between the United States and China, Brian Snyder, mergers and acquisitions of counsel for Morrison & Foerster in Hong Kong, noted that he had not observed deal flow change as a result of the tensions but he was seeing lower prices. He commented that “we are seeing some down-round valuations which [provides] a bit of a chill but companies are still starting up and trying to raise capital.”
