This status is granted to major firms that meet objective benchmarks pertaining to the number of women among equity partners and firm leadership, and in the ranks of their most highly compensated partners.

On June 17, 2019, the Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF) announced that MoFo was among the 45 U.S. firms awarded Gold Standard Certification. This status is granted to major firms that meet objective benchmarks pertaining to the number of women among equity partners and firm leadership, and in the ranks of their most highly compensated partners.To meet the U.S. Gold Standard, firms must satisfy a 20% minimum of women equity partners, and at least 33% of all attorneys promoted to equity partnerships over the last 12 months must be women, among other requirements.
