What Dominated UK Financial Regulation in 2019

Yulia Makarova spoke to Law360 about the UK’s financial regulatory landscape in 2019, including how it was affected by Brexit.

With Brexit delayed multiple times throughout the year, regulated firms “spent a lot of time and money and effort in order to guess what’s going to happen three times,” Yulia said. “Our clients did a lot of work in the Netherlands, Germany, and Ireland re-establishing their presence or changing the way that their services are offered to clients in order to continue with their business should there be a no-deal Brexit.”
