Alexis Amezcua Continues to Be Recognized as a Top Lawyer Under 40
Litigation partner Alexis Amezcua continues to be recognized as a standout young lawyer. This year, she has already been named a Top Lawyer Under 40 by the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) and to the San Francisco Business Times’ 40 Under 40 list. Speaking to her success, Alexis was also named to the Daily Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2019. The awards celebrate and highlight the accomplishments and contributions of up and coming leaders who have distinguished themselves in their fields. Demonstrating professional excellence, integrity, leadership, commitment to the Hispanic community, and dedication to improving the legal profession, Alexis is well-deserving of these recognitions.
Alexis works in concert with clients—many of them Silicon Valley household names—to ensure their goals are met both efficiently and practically. She understands their businesses, and uses her knowledge of the law and experience in and out of the courtroom to strategize matters to reach clients’ preferred outcomes. In addition to her successful practice, Alexis is committed to the communities in which she works and lives. As the hiring partner for Morrison & Foerster’s San Francisco Litigation Department, Alexis is particularly invested in ensuring that the firm’s incoming lawyers are diverse, that they are mentored and promoted within the firm, and that the pipeline for incoming diverse lawyers improves. She is a board member of the Bar Association of San Francisco and is also a board member of ChangeLawyers, a non-profit committed to improving the pipeline for California lawyers to ensure that the State Bar reflects California’s population.
