The Honorable James Peck spoke to the Wall Street Journal about the expected surge in bankruptcy filings due to the coronavirus pandemic. James served as a United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Southern District of New York from 2006 to 2014.
“What makes the present crisis in many ways more odious than the last one is that it affects everyone,” James said. “It affects consumers and it affects people where they live. Nobody can escape and there’s no place to hide.”
