Morrison & Foerster partner and global chair of the Private Equity Group, Marcia Ellis, is quoted in an article, “How regulatory risk could reshape Chinese PE ” published by Private Equity International on November 2, 2021.

According to the article, some Chinese private equity managers are tweaking their investment focus amid growing domestic and international concern over the potential impact of Beijing's regulatory crackdown. Marcia remains positive towards the Chinese Private Equity market. "I don't think people aren't going to invest in China for very long - it's just too big for a market - but they will take a pause here", said Marcia.
