Morrison Foerster advised Generate Capital, PBC (“Generate”), a leading infrastructure investment platform, in the sale of Equinox Growers, a Virginia-based developer and operator of high-tech greenhouses to Taylor Farms, a leading North American producer of fresh foods. The Equinox Growers facility is a 10-acre controlled-environment greenhouse capable of producing approximately six million pounds of leafy greens annually, providing a reliable year-round supply of fresh produce to East Coast markets through high-efficiency controlled-environment agriculture.
