Tom is an experienced merger control counselor, and has extensive experience advising on cartels, abuse-of-dominance claims, and distribution issues. He also advises on antitrust damages claims in Europe.
Tom’s experience covers a range of industries including chemicals, consumer electronics, consumer goods, energy, food and drink, forest products, insurance, oilfield services, packaging, pharmaceuticals, software, steel, technology, and telecommunications. His list of clients over the years has included a wide range of mainly European, Japanese, and U.S.-based corporations and associations.
Tom is a member of the ABA and IBA. He has been the EU rapporteur for the IBA Antitrust Committee newsletter, and has served on the IBA Competition Law International editorial board. He is a regular speaker and author on EU and UK competition matters.
Tom is a member of the Brussels bar (A list) and an English solicitor.
He was named in The International Who’s Who of Competition Lawyers & Economists 2019.
