With new U.S. sanctions against Russia, the pressure on EU businesses to comply with U.S. Iran sanctions, and the listing of Huawei on its entity list, the U.S. administration of President Donald Trump has further sharpened its sanctions programs. Companies in Germany are often caught between a rock and a hard place, in times where additional uncertainties result from global “Trade Wars” conducted in parallel.
