﻿Dan Levison is a partner at Morrison Foerster and co-Managing Partner of the Singapore office. He also heads its Litigation Department and leads the firm’s Ethics and Compliance regional practice in Asia. Dan counsels clients regarding compliance matters and conducts internal investigations and compliance reviews across the Asia-Pacific region, where he has over 24 years of experience. Daniel Levison

Partner

Gordon is a partner at Morrison & Foerster (International) LLP. Gordon focuses his practice on advising clients about intellectual property, licensing, outsourcing, and technology transactions.He has advised clients in the IT, telecommunications, financial services, manufacturing, and energy and life sciences industries on a wide spectrum of technology-related matters. His practice ranges from major projects, such as the establishment of the entire technology infrastructure for a new national PRC bank, to the creation of a new Singapore-based outsourced design, manufacturing, and logistics system for a global footwear company.Gordon has particular experience in cross-border commercial technology transactions in Asia and has worked with clients on a variety of projects, from traditional technology transfer arrangements to complex collaborative development relationships. He also has substantial experience in providing intellectual property, regulatory, and operational technology law advice to clients in mainland China, Hong Kong, and the Asia-Pacific region.He is a frequent writer and speaker on technology transfer rights, encryption, intellectual property rights, and data privacy, and has delivered lectures to regional governments and industry bodies in Asia. Sheryl focuses her practice on internal and government-facing investigations, white collar defense matters, regulatory and global compliance, including compliance due diligence for corporate transactions, as well as complex commercial disputes. Sheryl has particular experience in matters involving Asia.Prior to joining Morrison Foerster, Sheryl was a Deputy Public Prosecutor/ State Counsel in the Criminal Justice Division, Financial and Technology Crime Division, and the Advocacy Group of the Singapore Attorney-General’s Chambers, where she served as the lead prosecutor and state counsel on a wide variety of financial crime and regulatory matters, and successfully argued a number of cases before the High Court of the Republic of Singapore.Leveraging her former government experience, Sheryl advises clients in investigations and white collar defense matters alleging fraud, corruption (including violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA)), money laundering, sanctions violations, intellectual property theft and regulatory non-compliance, among other areas.
