MoFo is advising Plymouth Industrial REIT, Inc. (NYSE: PLYM), a real estate investment company that owns and manages industrial properties across the U.S., in its all-cash sale to entities affiliated with real estate advisory firm Makarora Management and global alternative asset manager Ares Management (NYSE: ARES). The transaction is valued at approximately $2.1 billion.
The transaction is expected to close in early 2026 and is subject to customary closing conditions, including approval by stockholders of Plymouth. The definitive agreement includes a 30-day "go-shop" period, which permits Plymouth to actively solicit alternative acquisition proposals from third parties during the period.
